I came up with the idea of the My Bloody Valentine series during the after-shock from Anthony, my husband, losing his job this past holiday season. The original plan was to host an event open to clients, but with it being only two weeks away from Valentine’s day, there wouldn’t be enough time to market, book studio space, and edit all the images before Valentine’s day for clients if we booked all the time slots. On top of all of that, my brain was barely functioning for day-to-day activities, I didn’t have the mental energy to even fool with it.

Remembering there were so many ladies who were interested in being models for our fall horror mini sessions, I immediately reached out to my friend Tabatha to cosplay the female version of Freddy Krueger!

I first met Tabatha late summer of 2018 when I attended my first Instameet. Since then we’ve chatted frequently on social media and became real-life buddies after the Castle Morningstar Instameet. I’m forever grateful for this beautiful, high-spirited human being.
